Update 7/30/20: Carolina Sleep Society Announcement – Covid-19
I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during this unsure time. The Carolina Sleep Society is dedicated to be a source of continuing education even during the Covid19 pandemic.
We are still planning to have the Sleep Society meeting from October 7th through October 9th at the DoubleTree Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. There will be two options to attend this year’s conference both in-person and for the first time ever virtual attendance will be an option for anyone that does not feel comfortable making the trip.
We are working closely with the hotel / venue to provide the following safety accommodations for all in-person attendees:
1. Seating space that will allow for social distancing.
2. Face Masks and hand sanitizer will also be available.
We are taking every effort to provide a safe and comfortable environment. We will also be providing designated time slots to virtual attendees an opportunity to engage with our vendors. If you plan to physically attend the meeting, please start to reserve your hotel rooms now and remember that the hotel is offering same pricing for rooms into the weekend for all attendees.

CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) through the joint providership of the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) and Carolina Sleep Society (CSS). MAHEC is accredited by the NCMS to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
MAHEC designates this live activity for a maximum of up to 10.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
MAHEC adheres to the ACCME Standards regarding industry support to continuing medical education. Disclosure of faculty and commercial support relationships, if any, will be made known at the time of the activity.
CONTINUING DENTAL EDUCATION
The North Carolina Health Education Centers (NC AHEC) are an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. This continuing education activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards of the ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) through joint efforts of MAHEC (part of NCAHEC) and the Carolina Sleep Society.
NC AHEC designates this activity for up to 10.0 hours of continuing education credits.
